The company exceeded the 1 GW target in the first year after RTO

TorontoAnd the June 1, 2022 /PRNewswire/- Westbridge Energy Corporation (TSXV: WEB) (OTCQB: WEGYF) (FRA: PUQ3) (“Westbridge“or the”a company“) to announce the addition of the Dulce Solar Energy and Battery Storage Project (“Dulce Project”), located in the municipality of Brigadierin the middle of the east Alberta, Canada, to her wallet. The project targets a total capacity of 250 MW of solar photovoltaic cells and 100 MW of Battery Energy Storage System (“BESS”).

The Dulce Project secured control of the site in the form of a long-term solar lease covering approximately 1,025 acres with private land owners. It is currently in the first phase of the Alberta Electrical System Operator (“AESO”) interconnection process, with environmental studies being conducted in accordance with the Alberta Environment and Parks Guidelines.

The company’s creation team continues to evaluate several solar and battery storage development projects to increase the scope and enhance its portfolio, with a vision to maximize the return on renewable energy assets by monetizing the project backlog and retaining royalties.
