Columbus, OhioAnd the May 31, 2022 /PRNewswire/ – American Electric Power (NASDAQ: AEP) named Stephen Martin Vice President, Infrastructure Engineering, IT Operations & Support, Effective May 30. Reports to Theras feathersExecutive Vice President and Head of Information and Technology Division.

Martin is responsible for technology planning and delivery of infrastructure technologies including computing, network, storage and end user tools. He also oversees technology and support operations.

Martin joined AEP from JCPenney, where he was Vice President of Enterprise Technology Services and led IT infrastructure, operations, support and e-functions and assumed the dual role of Managing Director, JCPenney Services India. Prior to joining JCPenney, he served as Senior Director of the Technology Operations Center and Senior Manager of Application Support for Target Corp. Martin has also worked at Dell for nearly 13 years in increasing responsibility roles. Received a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from Texas Tech University.
