Is momentum energy worth switching to?

For those looking to support renewables in Australia, Momentum Energy may be worth looking into. Through its parent company, Hydro Tasmania, the retailer makes a significant contribution to the generation and development of renewable energy for the National Electricity Market (NEM), and has acquired the latest Canstar Blue Green Award for Excellence In order to “Push Customer Support for Renewable Energy”.

Jared Mullane, Energy Editor at Canstar Blue, explained that Momentum Energy’s latest revamp is a trend that many retailers are moving into, and is a bonus to consumers in the market for a major new sustainability provider.

He said: “Australians who are keen to reduce their carbon footprint may find some value in Momentum Energy’s ‘Suit Yourself’ scheme, particularly as GreenPower costs are built into the deal.

Keep in mind that while this offer is touting a free percentage of GreenPower, you will find that this deal is a bit more expensive than its no-frills option, Nothing Fancy. That’s because the usage and exposure rates on the Suit Yourself product are slightly higher, so it’s worth considering these factors before making a decision. the purchase “.
